Such a juicy and flavorful fish baked in the oven, you can cook not only from cod, but also from any other fish.
To prepare 2 servings you will need the following ingredients:
- cod or other fish;
- onion, 2 pcs;
- carrots, 1 pcs;
- sweet pepper, 4 pcs;
- garlic, 2 cloves;
- sour cream or cream, 50 – 200 g;
- vegetable oil, 2 tbsp;
- salt, pepper.
Cooking process
Cut the fish in pieces,
chop
the carrots finely, cut the onion into thin half-rings, cut the sweet pepper as you like.
Cook the carrots and sweet pepper until medium soft in vegetable oil.
Chop the garlic coarsely and add to the vegetables, stir and fry for a couple of minutes. Remove from the stove and cool down.
Crumple the onions with your hands and place them on the bottom of the baking
dish. Place the fish pieces on top, salt and pepper it to taste. Chop
the vegetables with a blender to a sauce.
Mix the sauce with sour cream or heavy cream.
Salt and pepper the sauce to taste.
Tip: If the sauce is very thick, add a little water.
Pour the sauce over the fish.
Bake at 200 degrees until boiling and bake for another 30 minutes.
Serve the fish sprinkled with fresh herbs with a variety of side dishes.
