This is the tastiest fish dinner I’ve ever seen. Throw everything in a skillet for 30 minutes and forget it.

A fish dinner can be healthy if you prepare it correctly. It is not necessary to buy expensive salmon or tuna. It is enough to buy, for example, seabass.

Seabass (or sea wolf) is a fish that contains many useful substances. It has a lot of vitamins D and E, as well as vitamins of the B group. Seabass is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help improve the cardiovascular and nervous systems, as well as having anti-inflammatory effects. Seabass also contains minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and others. They help strengthen bones and teeth, improve muscle and nervous system function.

Let’s prepare stewed sea bass for dinner.

Ingredients:

  • sea bass – 3 pcs;
  • onion – 2 pcs;
  • sweet pepper – 1 pc;
  • tomato – 1 pc;
  • lemon – ⅓ pcs;
  • butter – 50 g;
  • tarragon – a pinch;
  • black pepper peas – 6 pcs;
  • smoked paprika – 1.5 tsp;
  • salt – 2 tsp;
  • sugar – 1 tsp;
  • water – 100 ml.

Preparation of stewed sea bass:

Clean the sea bass from the insides, remove the head, fins and tail, divide each carcass into 3 equal parts. Cut onion rings, as well as lemon, half rings – tomato, cut large cubes of peeled sweet pepper.

In a frying pan put a part of tomato half rings, onion and lemon rings, a part of sweet pepper. Place the fish on the vegetable bed, cover it with the rest of the tomato, onion, lemon and peppers.

Spread pieces of butter on different sides

Sprinkle the fish and vegetables with tarragon, black pepper, smoked paprika, salt and sugar.

Pour water into the skillet, cover and bring to a boil over medium heat. Then braise the fish in the skillet under a lid for 25-30 minutes.
