Curd pies are not just delicious, they are healthy. Let’s consider at least the filling for this pastry. Curd is one of the most important products for the body. Thanks to cottage cheese you can establish metabolism, improve digestion and restore the nervous system.

However, not everyone likes to consume cottage cheese in the usual state. The fact is that this fermented milk product is really sour.
For this reason, it is worth making various healthy desserts from cottage cheese. Such as, for example, cottage cheese pie.
Ingredients for cottage cheese pie:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 180 g;
- vanilla sugar – 10 g;
- butter – 180 g;
- sour cream – 4 tablespoons;
- flour – 480 g;
- leavening agent – 10 g.
Ingredients for the filling:
- cottage cheese – 540 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- powdered sugar – 10 g;
- sugar – 100 g;
- cornstarch – tbsp. l.
Preparation of cottage cheese cake:
In a bowl, break a couple of eggs, add granulated sugar, vanilla sugar, soft butter and sour cream. Beat the components with a mixer to a white homogeneous
mass. Pour the flour and baking powder into the mass, knead the dough with your hands. Cover the obtained elastic lump of dough with a lid and send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
For the filling, mix cottage cheese with eggs, powdered sugar, sugar and cornstarch. Beat the ingredients with an immersion blender until smooth.
Divide the dough into 2 parts – one larger and the other smaller. Place the larger piece of dough in a baking mold, form the bottom and small sides.
Place the curd filling in the dough mold in an even layer.
Roll out the second layer into a thin layer and divide it into small plates. From these plates form a grid pattern on the surface of the curd dough. Brush
the dough pattern with egg yolk
.
Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
The result is an excellent pie with cottage cheese filling. This is a flavorful and soft pie, which is suitable for a tea party.
