Condensed milk was invented only in the 19th century by a resourceful American, Gale Borden. Soon the sweet treat was put into large-scale production. The new product gave room for creativity to many confectioners. From condensed milk you can make both cream and biscuits. A
century later, most dessert stores offered customers to try many products with condensed milk. This innovation quickly spread all over the planet. It
is worth preparing at least one cake with condensed milk.
Ingredients of sponge cake for the cake:
- condensed milk – 380 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- flour – 140 g;
- vanillin – a pinch;
- leavening agent – 8 g.
Ingredients for the cream:
- butter – 70 g;
- chocolate – 100 g;
- boiled condensed milk – 180 g.
Cake preparation:
Beat condensed milk with eggs and vanilla until homogeneous. Sift flour combined with baking powder into the mixture, knead the biscuit dough.
Cover the baking mold with parchment, pour the dough into it and spread it in an even layer.
Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes in the oven.
Remove the cake from the parchment, divide it into two parts. Divide a couple of parts into 4 thin cakes.
In a separate container prepare the cream – melt butter, mix with chocolate.
When the chocolate
melts
in the butter, add boiled condensed milk. Stir the components until homogeneous.
Soak the cakes with milk, smear each with cream. Assemble the cake from the cakes with cream.
Smear the walls and top of the cake with cream, put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Decorate this cake with melted chocolate and chocolate chips.
You get a sweet chocolate cake with condensed milk.
