Cake on kefir “Winter Cherry” is not only a delightful treat, but also a symbol of home coziness and warmth. He enjoys the taste and aroma, which successfully combines the lightness of the dough and the rich sourness of cherries. The process of preparing this cake does not require special culinary skills, which makes it available for everyone who wants to please themselves and their loved ones.
The main ingredient of this dessert is kefir, which gives the dough incredible porosity and tenderness.
Cherries, in turn, add bright color and exquisite taste, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and sourness.
“Winter Cherry” is perfect for any holiday or family celebration, as well as a great treat for a tea party on cold winter evenings.
Ingredients for the biscuit:
- Eggs – 3 pcs;
- Sugar – 120 g;
- Salt – a pinch;
- Kefir – 300 ml;
- Flour – 300 g;
- Butter – 70 g;
- Baking soda – 1 tsp;
- Vinegar – 1 tbsp.
Ingredients for the cream:
- Sour cream – 500 g;
- Condensed milk – 200 g;
- Cherries – 200 g.
Preparation of the cake “Winter Cherry”:
Break eggs into a bowl, pour salt and sugar, pour in kefir and mix thoroughly. Sift flour into the mixture, knead the dough as if for pancakes.
Melt butter and pour into the thick dough, stir. Pour the baking soda into the dough, pour in the vinegar, mix.
Cover the baking tray with parchment and pour the dough onto it, spread it on the surface. Bake the biscuit at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
For the cream mix sour cream with condensed milk, whisk until thickened. If the cream does not thicken, you can add a thickener.
Divide the biscuit into small cubes of 3×3 cm each. Put part of the cubes into the cream, mix and place in a pastry ring.
Sprinkle each layer of cream cubes with cherries
