The Greeks greatly influenced the history of cooking. Thus, one of their conclusions in ancient times slowed down the development of pies. It was necessary to designate the difference between bread and pie. Fat began to be added to pies. Also, it was difficult to work with dough, so there was a tendency to cover meat and whole carcasses with it. This solution allowed to protect the filling from the external environment, to preserve it for a long time. However, the crust because of this became inedible.

Ingredients for the pie:
- flour – 200 g;
- leavening agent – tsp;
- sour cream – 150 g;
- eggs – 4 pcs;
- vegetable oil – 70 g;
- vanillin – 8 g.
Ingredients for the cream:
- egg – pcs;
- milk – 250 ml;
- cornstarch – tbsp. l;
- sugar – 40 g.
Cooking the cake:
Let’s start with the preparation of the cream. In a deep skillet mix the egg with sugar. Pour in the starch and stir. Add the milk, stir with a whisk. Put on the stove and stir continuously until thickened.
Now in a separate container break 4 chicken eggs. Add vanillin, sugar and beat with a mixer until white. Pour in vegetable oil, sour cream and beat. Pass the flour and baking powder through a sieve, again using a mixer.
Pour the dough into a mold covered with parchment.
Transfer the cream into a pastry bag. Press out the cream diagonally to form a pattern.
Bake in the oven at 170 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Cool the resulting cake and remove from the mold.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and treat guests. Cooking success!
