Buns are a hallmark of European cuisine. In each country you can find its own author’s buns, which are prepared in a very unusual way. Many people know, for example, French buns – croissants. But, there are also Spanish, Italian, German and other types of pastries.

Ingredients for buns with jam:
- Flour – 400 g;
- Apple jam – 11 tsp;
- Yeast – 20 g;
- Egg yolk – 1 egg yolk;
- Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
- Butter – 20 g;
- Sugar – 100 g;
- Milk – 200 ml;
- Turmeric – 0.5 tsp.
Preparation of buns with jam:
In a bowl mix yeast with warm milk, it is required to dissolve the components. Pour sugar into the yeast milk, pour in vegetable oil.

Cover the pan with parchment and place the scones on the bottom with the seams facing down. Cook the buns on low heat for 20 minutes under a lid.
Melt butter and brush each bun with butter. Continue cooking the buns in the same way for another 15 minutes. Next, use a flat plate to turn the buns over with the toasted side up.
Remove the parchment from the pan and place the buns with the unbaked side down. Bake the buns for an additional 5-10 minutes.
