Recently, the trend of oat flour pancake – that is, oatmeal pancake – has been trending on the Internet. This dish caused dissonance among many nutritionists. Not everyone was in agreement that oatmeal pancake is dietary and belongs to the category of proper nutrition.
However, the popularity of this flatbread led to a large number of different variations of this recipe. The most proper and delicious are considered to be flatbreads made of vegetables. For example, cabbage flatbread.
It is hearty, cooks quickly and has no claims from nutritionists.
Ingredients for cabbage flatbread:
- cabbage – 300 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- flour – 3 tbsp;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- sesame seeds – tbsp.
Preparation of cabbage flatbread:
Shinkle as finely as possible cabbage, mix with eggs, salt and flour.
Leave the resulting mixture for 5 minutes, and then again mix the components in the dough.
Spread a drop of vegetable refined oil on the surface of the pan. Put
⅓ of
the cabbage mass on the bottom of the pan, spreading an even small layer.
Sprinkle the tortillas with sesame seeds and cook on low heat under a lid for 10 minutes. Cover the flatbread with a plate, turn the skillet over. Remove the flatbread from the plate with the non-fried side on the pan.
Cook the flatbread also for 10 minutes under a lid. Repeat the same steps with the rest of the dough.
To the dough you can also add green onions and dill for a variety of flavors.
This is a good substitute for classic pancakes and flatbreads.
